He has written multiple bestsellers. Many authors would pocket most of the money, but here’s an interesting story about how he has given away over $8 million in royalties while living on a minimum-wage salary.
A New Hunger Games and the Unique Horror of YA Dystopian Stories– If you’re a book lover, particularly fiction, you’ll want to check out this article by K.B. Hoyle. On the heels of Suzanne Collins’ announcement of a Hunger Games prequel, Hoyle reflects on the role of dystopian literature in society. It’s an insightful take from a Christian perspective. Make Some Return to Your Parents– Tim Challies provides a wisdom-packed article on Christians’ call to care for their aging parents. Here’s a snippet: “If you wish to be truly godly, you must take care of primary responsibilities before secondary ones, and it’s clear that providing for immediate family is a matter of first importance that exists in that innermost circle.”
