This time of year has a lot to offer for people of all sorts. For kids, it’s time to enjoy all of those cool Christmas gifts they received. For food lovers, this is a time of parties galore, which means massive amounts of tasty treats. For book nerds, the end of the year brings a whole host of blog posts concerning favorite books read in 2012. I always enjoy seeing these posts to give me an idea of what my favorite authors are recommending. I thought it would be helpful to link some of these for you.
- Jared Wilson– He is a pastor in the Northeast whose blog is hosted at The Gospel Coalition. Jared is an excellent writer and an eclectic reader. Also, you should follow him on Twitter (@jaredcwilson) because he is hilarious.
- Tony Reinke– Tony works at Desiring God, and is the author of Lit! A Christian Guide to Reading Books. He always puts together a great list.
- Christianity Today– Each year, they put out a list of the best books according to different categories (apologetics, culture, etc.).
Are there any other lists that you’ve found to be really good? If so, feel free to list them in the comments section.
